Development through creative play

led me to throwing myself into

improv, stand up & comedy writing.

Being part of a comedy community

encourages, challenges & inspires me.

Claire Ives is a joyous comic. She has a ton of energy and you can’t help but watch her with a smile on your face. Her humour is witty and fast-paced all while charming you with utter silliness.
— Stacey Smith, Boom Chicago (SHE/HER/HERS)

Improv comedy was a game changer

that has now become an

extension, elaboration & continuation

to my story telling.

I believe that humour encourages us to observe the world differently, to be more empathetic, be more positive and to also address social injustice’s in a way that we can have a voice and hopefully bring awareness to the stories that matter.

Comedy brings people &

communities together.

Being able to collaborate and by observing others through fun, humour and laughter has taught me that in work and life

“It’s easier to be creative,

if you have people

to play with.”

John Cleese
